Taipei City Government Receives "Award of Distinction" at the 5th International Open Group India Awards 2023
Taipei City Government (TCG) participated in the 5th International Open Group India Awards 2023 with the theme "Taipei Government Enterprise Architecture (Taipei GEA)." TCG was honored with the "Award of Distinction" in the "ArchiMate® Modeling Language" category. This year Taipei City Government’s submission is oriented on the theme: "The Best EA Practices in the Smart City via Taipei GEAF: TAIPEIPASS." The judges of the Open Group India Awards 2023 panel praised Taipei City Government for applying the international standard "ArchiMate® Modeling Language" to construct our smart city successfully. The framework played a crucial role in accelerating the system development and maintenance of the TAIPEIPASS APP which was received positively. During the award ceremony, Commissioner Jack Shih-Long Chao (趙式隆) expressed that the Taipei City Government has established an inclusive "Government Enterprise Architecture" system, enabling our team to develop the TAIPEIPASS APP and other digital services efficiently and practically. This has provided Taipei citizens with high-quality digital services and helped achieve the city's goals for becoming a smart city. Commissioner Chao thanked the thoughtful consideration of all the judging panel members and expressed gratitude to the architect team for their tireless efforts and dedication in maintaining and enhancing Taipei City's digital systems.
