Taipei Card Integrated Services

Issued by Taipei City Government, Taipei Card is a multi-purpose smart card integrating a variety of services. Taipei Card holders will be able to access all kinds of municipal services easily and enjoy point redemption activities as well as preferential offers for cultural events.
Currently, Taipei Card has incorporated functions including Second Generation Health Card (Department of Health), Digital Student ID (Department of Education), Senior EasyCard (Department of Social Welfare), Charity EasyCard and Companion EasyCard (Public Transportation Office). Starting October 13 in 2014, residents can apply for Taipei Card services at 12 district offices, health centers, and Taipei City Hospital branches.
To promote the smart card, government agencies will roll out point redemption activities to encourage participation in city-held events or utilization of public services. Examples include taking part in health examinations and visiting sports centers to earn Taipei Card Reward Points.
Individuals can also transfer their Taipei Card Reward Points to EasyCard stored value—1 point (Taipei Card) to 1 NT dollar (EasyCard)--at 12 district offices, health centers, Taipei City Hospital branches, and 113 MRT stations across Taipei and New Taipei.

In addition to the point exchange programs, Taipei Card can also be used to acquire discounts for purchase of tickets or products at 14 designated cultural venues, such as the Red House, Taipei Artist Village, Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei Zhongshan Hall, CKS Shilin Residence, Taipei Story House, SPOT, and Grass Mountain Chateau.
