In the month of September, the mobile book bus “Slow Reading Voyager” will continue to make various stops across Taipei City to offer residents great books opportunities on the spot, as well as an opportunity for a short reading break in their busy day-to-day life!

The organizer invited Katie, the founder of SOLO Taiwan Theater, to serve as storyteller at the upcoming events. We invite both kids and adults to follow Alice’s steps to explore the world of wonderland.

The mobile book bus will stop by the following locations on the respective dates: CTBC Financial Park (September 16) and Dahu Park (September 30). There will be a book selection area and a comfortable outdoor sofa area for reading at the events.

Visitors at the event can enjoy access to services such as “Great Books Exchange,” “Time Capsule Postcard,” and “Books Reading Rally.”

Those interested can bring books with them to take part in the books exchange. Each individual can swap up to a maximum of 3 books per session. For “Time Capsule Postcard,” participants can write down words which they want to say to the special someone they have in mind. For the reading stamp rally, individuals can add the account of Taipei Public Library’s mobile book bus on LINE to acquire the stamp card. By taking part in the activities or completing the ‘borrowing books’ mission, they can accumulate stamps which can later be used to redeem prizes and gifts.
