MRT Exit Festival Classics Concert at MRT Daan Park Station this Weekend

MRT station at sunsetThe MRT Exit Music Festival will spotlight free classical music performances for the public at Daan Forest Park starting 10 AM on Saturday, December 19!
 
As a part of festival activities, Kawai Piano is joining hands with the Fantastique Philharmonic Association for Music Education to organize the Kawai Piano Future Talents Piano Recital consisting of pianists and string orchestra members. The event venue – the Sunlight Lobby inside MRT Daan Park Station building – is an open public space where friends young and old can sit down and enjoy the mesmerizing melodies.
 
Performing artists include professor Liao Chia-han, pianist Tang Chia-ying, and several winners from past Kawai piano competitions, as well as students from Wenhua Elementary School, Muzha Elementary School, and Shipai Junior High School. The members from the string orchestras of Jimei Elementary School and Zhongyi Elementary School will also take to the stage. Not only do these young talents possess rich performing experiences, many of them also take part in musical exchanges with schools abroad and perform at international music events.
 
In compliance with the central government’s pandemic prevention measures and city hall’s COVID-19 guidelines, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation reminds the public to wear face mask at all times inside indoor venues such as MRT Stations (including ticket vending area and station lobby), Zhongshan and East District malls, street dance areas, Taipei Arena, Beitou Resort, Taipei Children’s Recreation Center, and Maokong Gondola. Individuals with coughs, fever, or simply feeling unwell should remain at home or visit the doctor. Those with body temperature exceeding 38C will be refused entry and service.
